The NJ Interagency Council on Preventing and Reducing Homelessness has scheduled Homeless Hearings for November 23, 2009. The Council is inviting all NJ residents to attend and provide comments and suggestions on the quality, provision and coordination of homeless services.
Catholic Charities Trenton along with the NJ Advocacy Network to End Homelessness is urging you to share your story at one of the hearings. We must speak out about the need for supportive housing and services that are proven to work towards ending homelessness. Talk to your center manager to arrange transportation and sign up to speak at the hearings.
Attendees must RSVP by November 20 and provide the panel with a written copy of thie remarks. Speakers will be allowed a maximum of three minutes to testify.
